National Novel Writing Month* is upon us! Write-Ins are a time to come work on your writing–they are great way to stay focused, and as a bonus you can meet other writers doing NaNoWriMo! Bring your laptop, pen/paper, or whatever you use to write.

NaNoWriMo is almost done–come write and celebrate! Share your experience of the month with fellow writers.

Teela, our local ML**, will be hosting this write-in. Teela can answer any NaNoWriMo questions you may have. Writing, word-sprints, and prizes!

This is an ongoing writing group that is dedicated to encouraging exploration and refinement of writing craft. We will read each other’s work, provide feedback, and talk all things literary. Please bring a laptop, or paper and a writing instrument. 

All adults welcome. More information regarding our process and google docs will be provided at our monthly meeting. (We use google docs to collaborate month-to-month: reading works before meetings allows us to spend more time critiquing.) 

Cranberry Farm Life with Jennifer Brockman

The Central Wisconsin Book Festival welcomes writer, blogger and vlogger Jennifer Brockman to the McMillan Memorial Library in Wisconsin Rapids!

Brockman, who lives in central Wisconsin with her family, is a cranberry farmer and runs a successful YouTube channel covering farm life, homeschooling, raising awareness of Down Syndrome, sharing recipes and more! She'll share her experiences starting and maintaining the YouTube channel, and how it turned into authoring her own cookbook, "Recipes from a Country Life."

The Central Wisconsin Book Festival welcomes author Beth Amos to the McMillan Memorial Library in Wisconsin Rapids to discuss her 30-year writing career!

Amos, currently writing as Annelise Ryan, is the USA Today bestselling author of more than 25 novels. Her newest project is the Monster Hunter Mysteries, featuring a Door County bookstore owner and cryptozoologist, Morgan Carter. The first in the series, A Death in Door County, will be published in September.
