Baby Storytime

Baby storytime will be Tuesday mornings at 10:30am on the 2nd floor in the youth services storytime area. 

We will read stories, sing songs and rhymes, and end with a play time. 

This program is geared towards kiddos 0-2 years old.

Outdoor Messy Crafts at Robinson Park

McMillan Library is partnering with the Wisconsin Parks & Rec Department to offer 3 different outdoor craft events featuring tools and materials too messy for indoor use. This is a free event with all materials and supplies provided, on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. Please register online (below) so that we have enough supplies. Everyone is welcome to come in the 2-4 window but last crafts should be started by 3:30 PM. All ages are welcome including ages 3-11 with a parent.

WRPS JOM Cultural Event -- Learn Native American Beading

The WRPS JOM group is sponsoring a free Native American beading activity at McMillan Library!  There will also be food and drink.  All materials and supplies will be provided.  Brandi Redbird and Kerry Lynn Thompson will be on site to instruct participants in beading and assist with the activity.  This is for all ages, with parents needing to accompany any younger children.

Summer Family Fun - Duke Otherwise Concert

Duke Otherwise is a playful wordsmith, a spirited performer, a skilled guitarist and captivating tap-dancer.  Using his distinct baritone, he sings his hilarious and imaginative songs that all ages will delight in together. His energetic live show is filled with improvisation, audience participation, dancing, and outrageous fun!  

This show is free and no tickets or registration are required.

Qing Ming Jie: A Chinese Cultural Celebration

Qing Ming Jie which means Pure Brightness Festival is more than a memorial day, it’s also a celebration of life, beauty and a season of renewal. Chinese Cultural Presenter Joy Wang will bring us delicious treats to try and talk about the meaning of the season. There will be an interactive Tai Chi Presentation and a kite craft.
