This is a continuation of the basic cooking series we had this past Fall. More new skills will be taught. These classes do build on each other, so please tr to commit to all three. Space is limited for these classes. For safety reasons, we do require an accompanying adult (you might learn some new, fun things). These classes are for children aged 8-11 with some experience with cooking and knife skills.
We will be making our own snow globes using plastic jars, figurines, and glitter. Supplies and space are limited for this program.
Because of the rain today, we will instead show the movie Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile in the Library's theater starting at 11:00 a.m. The movie is rated PG and has a run time of 106 minutes.

Out of an abundance of caution to keep our staff and patrons safe, we have made the difficult decision to close the library today while we are under this Winter Weather Warning.
McMillan Library is partnering with our local 4-H to present this series of sewing classes. Beginning with basics and making a couple of projects. Space is limited. The classes build on each other, so we do want you to commit to all three dates. The classes will take place from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on the following dates: January 10th, February 7th, and March 7th. Participants must be aged 8-11 and will need to be accompanied by an adult (you can learn some fun stuff too adults!) Registration is required. Space is limited.
Due to the forecasted bad weather, the library has decided to close at 5:00 p.m. today. All programs have been cancelled for this evening.
