This month's book club book is The Penderwicks by Jeanne Birdsall. There are a limited number of copies at the lower level service desk for you to check out. We will discuss the book and have a related activity. This book club is for those aged 8-11.

We will have a selection of games ready to go and some game enthusiasts to show you the ropes. Play games – meet gamers.

We will be exploring the medium of oil pastels in art during this program. This program is for those aged 7-11.
Materials for designing and making a catapult will be available. You will be working in teams to make your catapults then you can put them through a series of challenges. Registration is not required for this program.
We will have a Family night showing of the Pixar animated film Elemental. Disney and Pixar’s “Elemental” is an all-new, original feature film set in Element City, where fire-, water-, land- and air residents live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in.
This movie is rated PG and has a runtime of 1 hour and 43 minutes.
