Stop into the library and use our manual typewriter to write your piece of flash fiction. You get one page of paper, a typewriter, and your brain: that's it. Judges will decide the best story—best story receives $75 gift card.

You will be given a folder to write your name and contact information on it, a typewriter, and paper. Drop in anytime during the week, or make a reservation ahead of time. Check in at the information desk.

You may work on your story at home, but during your 1 hour with the typewriter you may not use notes, computers, phones, books, or any other help besides your own brain!
