The Mead Wildlife Area just completed its first juried art gallery featuring art of or inspired by the Mead Wildlife Area and or McMillan Marsh. Some of the winning pieces from that show will be on display at McMillan Library through the month of November. Come to see these beautiful works and leave with a heart filled with what only nature can provide!
McMillan Library presents an antiques and collectibles appraisal event featuring author and antiques expert Mark F. Moran of Iola, Wis., on Saturday, December 2nd, from 10:00am — 1:00pm

We will be making glass bead Mason Jar Luminaries. This program is for those children aged 6-11. We will be requiring registered children to be accompanied by an adult. We will be using hot glue to create our projects and will need extra assistance. Registration is required and will open on Monday, December 4th. You can register HERE.
We will be showing the 2023 movie The Super Mario Bros. in our theater.
Based on the Super Mario video games, the animated film follows Mario on his adventures with his friends. Mario joins forces with Princess Peach and Toad. The trio is in search of Mario's brother Luigi. Together, they hope to defeat the evil Bowser and save the Mushroom Kingdom from his destructive schemes.
The movie will start at 6:00 p.m. and has a run time of 92 minutes. This movie is PG rated.

National Novel Writing Month is upon us!
Local volunteer coordinator of our regional NaNoWriMo chapter, Teela, will host NaNoWrimo write-ins at the library this year! A write-in is a NaNoWriMo event where writers gather in a central place to write and meet other writers.
