Teens from 11-18, we're making beautiful and creative crafts with Mr. Kip on Wednesdays. This Wednesday we are using Henna and Spray paint so please fill out the permission slip (the docx link after the word 'Attachments') and bring it on Wednesday.
Join us at the library for stories, songs, and activities for preschool aged children and their grown-ups.
Join us at the Wisconsin Rapids Zoo for some animal-related activities.
Baby storytime will be Tuesday mornings at 10:30am on the 2nd floor in the youth services storytime area.
We will read stories, sing songs and rhymes, and end with a play time.
This program is geared towards kiddos 0-2 years old.
Join us Monday afternoons at 1:30pm and Monday evenings at 6pm for a movie in our Fine Arts Center theater. This week we'll be showing "American Fiction" which is rated R and runs 1h 57m. A novelist who's fed up with the establishment profiting from Black entertainment uses a pen name to write a book that propels him into the heart of the hypocrisy and madness that he claims to disdain.
McMillan Library and Mead Wildlife Area are working together again to bring you adventure! This week's theme is Lumberjack Camp: 1858! McMillan Library will have a bus available for a limited number of people to go to Mead Wildlife Area for their Journey into the Wild programs.
The Red Cross will be holding a blood drive that is open to the public. You can save up to 3 lives just by donating blood. Adults and teens 16 and over are eligible to donate. Visit redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-733-2767 to register for an appointment between 10am and 3pm. You can also drop by to see if there are any openings to donate.
