How can gigantic machines that weigh tons get off the ground and fly through the air? Join us at McMillan Memorial Library this July to find out!
Participants will build a small balsa glider and a large foam glider as they learn about airfoils and the forces of flight: lift, thrust, drag, roll, pitch, and yaw. This free series will run July 10, 17, 24, and 31. Space is limited and age restrictions apply - we'll be using sharp blades and hot glue guns. Additional adult supervision is encouraged.

Baby storytime will be Tuesday mornings at 10:30am on the 2nd floor in the youth services storytime area.
We will read stories, sing songs and rhymes, and end with a play time.
This program is geared towards kiddos 0-2 years old.
Monday Movies - The Iron Claw

Join us Monday afternoons at 1:30pm and Monday evenings at 6pm for a movie in our Fine Arts Center theater. This week we'll be showing "The Iron Claw" which is rated R and runs 2h 12m. The true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers, who made history in the intensely competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s.
